Cane knives
It was understandable that OKAPI develop a range of customised sugarcane knives as the company is situated in the major sugar producing region of South Africa. This culminated in the introduction of the "All-rounder" cane knife. Other cane knives include short, medium and long handle varieties with a range of different bends.
Two standard finishes are available. They are:
- Black paint dipped.
- Satin finish. The knife is polished and dipped in lacquer to protect it from rust. This eliminates the problem of paint clogging sharpening files when the cane knife is new.

Okapi also produces general cutting and bush cleaning knives, such as:

- Corn harvesting knives
- Brush cutter blades
- Specialised knives
All agricultural blades use the same material and heat treatment process as the traditional "Okapi" lock knife.
